Celtic v City post match

The same lot who were giving it the big one about the red vermin who then went on to beat the champions 4-1, don't they realise that it all comes round to bite you on the arse when you get complacent.

The game at the weekend will be very very hard as will the game after that. There are half a dozen sides in the running for the PL title and we are just one of them, nothing is a given, at least the cynical old bastards have our feet firmly on the ground.
You lot have been wrong far more than you've been right this s

I think our early tactical changes have been figured out to some extent. Teams pushing us back and getting between our defence and midfield. Its going to be a good test of Pep's skill to continue in the face of a hectic schedule, injuries and some players reverting to type.
Reverting to type? That'll be Kolarov then. Had a stinker tonight.

Good game, we pressured you as expected and shame we couldn't hold the leads we took, good to see us playing a high line and pressuring ur goalie and defense. Man city could a sneaked it at the end tho

Not the walkover as some expected here, I would imagine your younger fans...no team is invincible ;) good luck for Sunday..
The wise ones amongst us didn't expect a walkover, we expected a difficult night, and so it proved.

I had to listen on the radio, and by the sounds of it I should be grateful I didn't suffer BT's coverage, because Pat Nevin, who I normally don't have a lot of time for, made it an enjoyable listen, and was very fair in his comments, even though he clearly wanted Celtic to win. It sounded a great game, and I look forward to playing you at home now, I think we'll be better and should win.

I just hope you can raise your game for your other 2 home games as much as you did tonight.

Hang on lets have it right. Their first goal was off side their second was a massive deflection off Sterling and the third was a miss kick. It was one of those nights but we still managed to get something from the game.
Very much this.

1st and 2nd wasn't bad defending.

3rd was an individual error from ONE player.

Aye and then added when roberts came on "its written in the stars"..........did quinn really play for us cos he has some issues with us

Have we removed him from that hall of fame thing he bizarrely got in? He wasn't that good. Just better than some of the other dross we had at the time.

Some very poor defending from front to back tonight and Guardiola won't be happy with that at all.

But it was a great football game and sometimes you've just got to sit back and enjoy it for what it is.

A fair result. The first team we've faced that showed they knew a few thing about us and disrupted enough to keep us in touching distance. We had the better chances but a few of their players had a good game against ours that had an off day. Kolo Toure did enough to contain some of our attacks.

We were not in it, our diagonals were not happening and the back was nervy. But Pep will learn from this and to think that other clubs believe our Achilles heel has been exposed, Pep should now have something to work and improve on instead of grinding the same tactics day in day out. its better to see it earlier, and Pep has alluded to this too.

Not too worried about the result. Shame that we dropped two points but we gained some knowledge on how teams can disrupt and score goals against us
