Centre-back

If Pepe and Demichelis don't happen or are just speculation, I think Txiki could come home with one of Diego Godin (he was arguably the best defender in La Liga last season and at 27 approaching his prime), Inigo Martinez (the best young Spanish centre half, City have been linked before and he is the sort of classy player you expect at City), or Adil Rami (very strong and physically suited to the English game, plus apparently available for under £10million).

I've been led to believe that Pepe is more than just speculation

If so, do you think he would be the last signing of the summer?

Please move back a month news papers , before nasty injury it was on the news paper that city looking for perfect and strong combination of Pepe and kompany, the after nasty injury , it reveals that's they need 2 defenders excluding lescot . Also u said about Real Madrid games and premier league big games, my whole point is nastastic still need to enhance his capability as a defender like little bit dribbling and passing as well , sometime he is slow to react to he recieving end just becoz of lack of experience. I want kompany to start with new young quick and versatile defender who can dribble and clean at tackles. Garay and Otamendi both are young experienced and versatile players who can play at any area of the field, there is no doubt about the availability and they are economical in have them in the team.

It's really strange thing for me, city still going for Italian defenders like canavaro at 32 years of age , and Greek guy who has discipline problem . Garay and Otamendi are easy to settle cos city already have Pablo and aguero , but new manager doesn't like argies in the team , it's my perception based on the deductions being made the mismanagement of city over descent months, kicked tevez ignore higuain , di Maria Garay .... ? Without any reason ....

He kicked Tevez? Not sure if that would tie in with the 'hollistic' approach

Tevez also asked to leave.

I just hope we get one of the three mentioned or Sakho.

We definitely a centre-backs who is quicker / can position himself better if we are to persevere with this highline at the back. I think experience is key, so one of Pepe, Godin, or Rami would be ideal, but equally I think one of the younger two could also do the job and challenge both Kompany and Nastasic for a start when all are fit.

We don't want squad players, because they will always be second choice, we need players who will always push for a starting berth so the competition will keep the players on their toes.

City's big problem is when players have no competition, Yaya's form dropped last year and Nasri didn't have his best season. I sincerely hope Jovetic gives Nasri plenty of competition this season, and then we will see a hungrier player. I don't want to see any player shirking challenges or turning his back on play this season. This seems to be a problem at City in that some players think they can cruise through games. If players don't like competition then they should be shown the door, because the hunger for success should be there in all our players.

Agreed, some of our players just don't give a shit because they feel too comfortable. Now that we are going to have two players on each position I hope that this attitude will be different. Btw, I hope that we'll sign Pepe because both Cannavaro and Kyriakos are not suitable for us. It's just not what we need.

True, ones too old and has never been good enough for where we want to be, the other is too much of a gamble. Is his knee OK?

The other players listed are around the same price and would fit in straight away.

If I given the previlage to select the team for the upcoming season, then I would love to make the around Silva, and my team will be like that...

So you want to sign literally half a new outfield team, including Higuain who just joined Napoli for a record transfer fee (I'm sure ADL will gladly sell him to us though for about £80million).

And also put Tevez on the bench, who left for Juventus earlier this summer.

Are we to sell new signings Jovetic, Negredo and Fernandinho too since they don't make your match day squad?

Can't figure out if wumming or just...
