Just because a good player suddenly comes available doesn't mean we have to or should sign them, I get the feeling some just want Fabregas just so he doesn't go elsewhere. I couldn't give a fuck how much Fabregas is available for; we don't need him (yes, even if Yaya was to leave).
We shouldn't be in the market for luxury signings e.g. Fabregas, but rather looking to address the actual needs within the squad.

Buying loads of superstars doesn't mean you get a great team.
Sergio, Yaya and Vinny are our superstar players anyway.
FFP has caused us not to get Cesc, had we not had a 50m cap he would have signed for us by now I reckon.
