50m for Luiz, 40m for Mata and 17 mil for De Bruyne is a start. They can buy anyone this summer, they're in tremendous shape.

There net spend so far for this window for those 3 would be 40m when you take in the luiz sale then when you take in the mata sale its more like 3m

If they get Fabregas as well as Costa and add one or two others they will have the best team/squad in England regardless of our dealings this summer,unless we pull some suprises out of the hat. Let's just hope the eye isn't taken off the ball again as in 2012.

People seem to be forgetting, Chelsea have long spent the Mata money of £37m.

They paid £21m for Matic and £12m for Zouma in January.

As for De Bruyne, they had to do that after spending £30m on Willian and £18m on Schurle.

So tolmie do you think we still have a shout of landing cesc? An injury to fernandinho in january and Garcia become a starter in a two man midfield, I rate Garcia but more in a 4-5-1 midfield. Think cesc is more vital then a cb.

So basically they have swapped Mata ( player of the year two tyears running for Fabregras - not that much improvement
Luiz - experienced international for a young unproven centre back
Costa - yes this makes them better but we all knew he was coming and you would expect them to try and improve.
