He didn’t show much loyalty to West Brom, so I guess he’ll move whenever he doesn’t get game time. With Palace having so few players, he may well get a fair amount of games there.

I have to say that's a harsh statement given nobody knows him on here (presumably). He's bettered himself coming here and is now looking to get more 1st team games after last season, and in the PL at that.

Rogers will never make it at City. And we’ve got Carlos Borges who looks far more promising on the left wing.

He is a talent but our academy is full of them and as mentioned its a great chance for the lad. We get cash in the bank and secure any future fees etc.

True just think we should be holding for longer for more money
 
As echoed, Rogers wasn't even one of the best in our academy set-up, Palmer showed more.

I'm sure he will have a great career, probably in the premier league, and maybe in the future he will get a move to a big club, but City is wisest to bet on the handful of top talents (Delap, Palmer, McAtee, Lavia as far as I'm concerned), if they are going to gamble on any youth.

Probably happier to get the funds in the bank early, so we can go out and buy some talent ourselves with a larger war chest.

It seems that we are a club that prefers to get the deals closed, but we do gain future benefit from sell-on clauses.
 
Do we not have any 21-22 year old from EDS who is rubbish, mediocre like Ryan Brewster and some loser can be charged for 25m for him?

Would love a deal like that.
