If it helps, rhe interview was dond after tbe Lyon game, as he talks about CL exit. Messi rumours started before the Lyon game, after barca were pumped by bayern. So the interview was definitely recorded after the messi rumours.

Maybe , that why I asked, just think he was hinting Messi apart we could well be signing experienced players this season, we do lack leadership since the loss of Kompany.

Given the conciliatory tone and non-aggresive stance taken by Khaldoon I hope people can finally see why we never have and never will engage in a 'war' with the media. It's sad really because all the tripe that's hurled our way is never going to stop and never going to be tackled by the club, but hey, that's how they roll.

The infinite patience with our double-dealing and crooked enemies amazes me. At one level it's admirable. I'm reminded of parents who forgive the murderer of their child. You look at someone like that, and realise you could never be that good.

OTOH it's a bit of a blow for vindictive ****s like me, who would like to see a pound of flesh. I was not cut out to be a saint.

Unfortunately Khaldoon has to work with the venomous weasels but I would imagine he is well aware who the enemy are and the fact they will never stop plotting against us.
We on the other hand will never forgive or forget those who did everything they could to destroy this club. Hypocrites, the whole stinking nest of them.
