Chameleons vox - US tour starts this week

For anyone living in the States and who remembers the great Middleton band, The Chameleons (fronted by Mark Burgess, City fan and one time ticket office employee!) well 'Chameleons vox' is Mark and drummer John Lever with members of the band Bushart and they are touring the States this month.

Definately worth going to see.

Playing the Ruby Lounge and Camden Lock in December I think.
Danbert, of course its not exactly the same, but its still a decent show. Any chance to hear this music live is a bonus.

This was a different touring band in the states, some young American lads who are huge Chameleons fans. They were a pretty fierce unit.

We had a top night in a Madrid club en route to Valencia last week and the DJ played everything we asked for. Some obscure stuff like Violet Femmes etc. It was like the The Venue on Fridays.

The two songs above were asked for, but he didn't have.

Saw them at the Ruby Lounge a few months back and it was sold out - like it has already sold out for the Xmas show.
I'll be there in Boston in 2 weeks time. Really looking forward to it

My mate Bowler (Ray) is the bassist in vox. And my mate of over 30 years Foxy (Ste) is the lead guitarist (ex-vox) in the US tour support band 'Black Swan Lane'. Not really my thing but they do sound top live.

I lived next door to Ray in Moston before moving to the States!
Looking forward to having a drink with him :)
