While Cloughie's achievement in winning two European Cups with Notts Forest was monumental, as was the case when he took Derby County to the European Cup semi against Juve and got screwed over, in those days you could be drawn against non-entity clubs like Grasshoppers of Zurich.Anyone seriously suggesting that a return to the previous format would lead to an increase in quality is completely divorced from reality. It is currently competed between (give or take) the 32 best teams in Europe. The champions of Albania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Ireland don't quite fit into that bracket.

They lost four games in the Champions League. Is that a record ?Yes the Scouse Twats were actually better in the PL losing only 1 game, still didn't win it though did they?
