might as well have the hardest possible group because whenever we face anyone half-decent we'll shit ourselves and knock ourselves out, so might as well get it done with.

Bayern, Lazio and Club Brugge would be the most interesting group.

Salzburg is not easy. Especially not against bigger opponents. They usually have a hard pressing and very fast offensives.
 
Cant see any surprises or concerns coming from the 8 in pot 4 so we should get a whipping boy in there.
Be good to get a tough pot 1 and a standard pot 3.
Even if we don’t win the group, we should finish in top 2 no question, but we need to be challenged. We’ve walked the group last few years and its done us no good.
 
I want to avoid Bayern.
Simeone have the potential to cause problem, and Simeone defence are better than MCFC no doubt.

Great work as usual, I always check your posts after updating my spread sheet to make sure I have not made a blunder. Funny I love all the tension that goes with the draw and the group stages, but bloody hate the competition.

Or a similar group of death. The balls will be well truly micro-ed. Uefa will be sticking the knife in after they got fucked over at CAS. Just watch the ref placements.

And how many times does the final end up in Turkey. Does Uefa go for the highest bidder, or is it that LIverpool always want a Turkish final venue?
