Champions League - 2021/22

Are Leipzig that dangerous anymore? I don't think so. They lost their best defender and a good coach. We shouldn't take them lightly but there is no need to be terrified of them
They're still a great side and they make shrewd signings every summer. They have the ability to shock us if we aren't careful.

Went the first time. Expensive. Awesome city (obviously). People very friendly (unexpected). In the stadium I felt like the riot police in front of our fans were itching for any excuse to pile in but in the end there was no trouble. Recommended.

Went the last time and apart from the ballache of picking up tickets it was a great trip
Pubs near ground were pretty friendly too

wow what a fixture list end of September

25/09 Chelsea away
28/09 PSG away
03/10 Liverpool away

not much rotation we can do there
It’s not the easiest of weeks but at least the dippers are away (at Porto) on the same night we’re at PSG. Would have been tougher for us if they’d have had a routine CL home game before we go there.

Like a lot of the German teams who come. We think they look brilliant in the Bundesliga but are like playing mid table Prem teams. Decent enough, could beat us on the day, but more than likely we’ll win.

We’ve only ever lost 1 game and drawn 1 game out of 13 at home against German opposition, with a 35-13 GF-A.

And have won our last 6 at home with a 21-3 GF-A.
