I hope you’re correct, and it should be the case. But all announcements from the club only state a time change for the Sunday, not a day change.
The club confirmed that the game would take place at 2pm on the Sunday but then included this caveat.

"These details are subject to us not being involved in the UEFA Champions League the following Tuesday"

If we play on the Tuesday then it will move as planned.

I completely missed that statement, as did a lot of others on here. Thanks for confirming this.

Today. I'm concerned about tickets though if the 1st game is away on the Tuesday. They don't sell tickets on a weekend and Monday is a Bank Holiday. They'll have to have a very short window for each point criteria

Looks like it could be a case of picking them up at the Stadium. Hopefully not.

As planned? There's no mention of any contingency to move this game to any other date (unlike Arsenal, Brighton etc where other dates are mentioned).

Of course, it should move but the premier league mentions nothing in contingency other than the two times on the Sunday that were originally mentioned (2pm and 4.30pm)

Will the United game definitely get moved to the Saturday if we're drawn to play on the Tuesday 4th?
Using previous history then it should do, would imagine we’d swap with West Ham Wolves who are on Sky at 5:30 on the Saturday.

I thought it was due to move to a Wednesday night sometime but looking at the announcement I might be confusing that with the Arsenal game caveat. It wont stay on the Sunday. Maybe Saturday 7.45 if police allow.

Still buzzing with that draw. Some nice away trips. Good fans coming to the Etihad. All winnable games (but won't be too easy to make them boring) and we avoided Donetsk!

City's original announcement (which was nonsense and quickly changed) talked about moving it to a Wednesday but it's international break the week before so that's not possible. Premier League announcement only mentioned different times on the Sunday. Let's hope it's on the Wednesday and then it won't matter :-)
