I’ve had to edit my post as didn’t make the connection originally, my absolute favourite album of all time, one of the greatest bands ever, no pretence, just brilliant tracks from great musicians. London Calling was voted Album of the 90’s by Rolling Stone Magazine, correct decision imho.

80s, but was originally recorded in 79, which makes the award even more impressive.
Toppest album out there, and still kicks to this day.

Yeah, 16 tonne tour circa 81/82 at Apollo pure quality Clash I was only 15.
Met Joe Strummer back stage after his last gig in town before he passed away absolute gentI I talked City he talked arsenal and they were good then ha ha.
