Champions League ban?

Something new!! How about someone on here making up appropriate new words for the CL anthem? Then we can all sing along to our hearts content. I am being serious. I am hopeless at that sort of thing but from some of the inventive chants coming out of the singing section I know there are people on here who would make a good fist of it.
Posnan the anthem

I think every critical journalist I've heard over the last day needs to stop for a second and listen to themselves and then they'll realise how stupid this whole thing is. The guy on talk sport was enraged "we've cheated" he'd insist but then his next sentence is "the owner invested his own money". Take man city of this equation and just listen to your own words then you'll realise how dumb this whole thing is

But it won't be in court that it will be used. I don't think anyone is accusing City of a crime. It'll be at a UEFA disciplinary session, which almost certainly can have its own rules.

How the details came to light may affect how hard UEFA feel they can press. As others have said, they have the same trade-off as the last time - press City, but don't press them so hard that City threaten to bring down the house of cards.

I'm not even certain that CAS is a court as such.
Has there been any update do you know about UEFA's investigation into PSG? I looked at it through google, and last public action seems to have been 5th Nov 2018 when PSG appealed to the CAS over UEFA's renewed investigation into PSG finances. At the moment UEFA are talking about launching a similar investigation into City which presumably City can 'deal with' in the same way that PSG have. It seems to me ridiculous that UEFA can use emails as evidence which are directly contradicted by the statements of international companies such as Etihad Airlines. Are not UEFA accountable in any way? I wonder what action Etihad Airlines could take against UEFA if it was suggested that Etihad were reneging on their contract with Manchester City.

No idea, sorry.
Whatever happens, the timeframe since Spiegel Day is very short for anything to have been decided.
I don't think UEFA have said anything specific about actions vs City either. You'd expect them to look into the matter at some level, and that's pretty much all Ceferin has confirmed.

its a warning to both clubs PSG and manchester city dare you win the champions league

all this is just a warning shot and uefa and the FFP is dead in the water and the only thing the powers at the top of uefa and its so called members from the so called big clubs with history, and they have left is old news and are digging for something that's not there unless somebody plants something in the old records ???? city are close to being top dogs in europe and look what they are doing to the english game is making united and liverpool panic and running for cover

all the big clubs in europe and liverpool and united have been at it for years with fudging figures so lets have our people go digging themselves and i bet it will be easy to find something to nail them, if you think united and liverpool are Mr clean and do things in the right way your wrong and don't get me started on uefa and all the bent goings on at the top with chairman and many of the board all getting very big bans for dodgy deals

Thanks. I assume then that CAS have yet to come to a decision. It does however show that there are options open to City should we feel that UEFA are unlikely to give City a fair hearing.

How about:

You corrupt bastards
UEFA
Fuck FFP
We're City

There are, but that's some way down the line in City's case. CAS is not a quick body to work through.

The last time around, the club obviously decided to be pragmatic, and I assume told UEFA privately what they thought of it, which is why the club issued the 'good of football'/taking the pinch statement at the time.
I imagine there would be a fair amount of lawyerly mediation/arbitration before it got anywhere near CAS.
