Champions League Draw, 16th December *UPDATED*

I thought it was today for some reason. Oh well, explains why Sky Sports don't have anyone interviewing the golden oldies, the actual draw balls and Psychic Sally for insight.

I would like PSG or Dortmund, at this stage you have to be beating the best anyway and we have proven we can do that, but I think we'd have what it takes to do either of them over two legs.

Dates for the diaries are 18–19 & 25–26 February 2014 and 11–12 & 18–19 March 2014.

I hope United draw Milan. De Jong and Mario would be up for that, but I can see them getting Olympiakos or Galatasaray.

My forecast:

Olympiakos vs Scum
Arsenal vs Barcelona
Leverkusen vs Real Madrid
Zenit vs Bayern Munich
Schalke 04 vs At Madrid
Galatasaray vs Dortmund
Man City vs PSG
AC Milan vs Chelsea
I hope the scum get galatasaray, bobby would be well up for that and so would drogba.

I'd like in order:

1. PSG
2. Dortmund
3. Barca

Wouldn't want to play either of the Madrid teams basically. Other than them bring on whoever i think we can get through.

I agree with this. But for selfish reasons I hope we don't play Dortmund as I like to see us play a side we haven't played against before in the CL. I like to see us play Barca the most. What a spectacle it would be. As an added bonus If we beat them, zaba will convince messi to jump ship to us!

Now I know Dortmund have a lot of injury issues but has everyone forgotten the schooling they gave us last season? With that tempo, pressing and counter-attacking they were completely unplayable home and away. Bobby and the boys looked shell-shocked. BVB? No, never again, at least with Klopp still in charge.

The CL starts again in Feb, so there's plenty of time for Athletico's form to hit the buffers

Great point actually. Always forget the second stage is so far off.

Only problem is, we've been terrible in the last two February's

Normally when Yaya has been at the ACN. Thankfully there isn't one this year

With the squad we've got, added to the factor that we've already achieved our aim for this year's Chumps Lg, we should be thinking, we'll play anyone, anytime, anywhere.
To hell with it. Let's see what the draw delivers and have a lash at winning the thing. We're good enough, we just have to believe we're good enough.
Enough of this 'ooh, if only we could save such and such til later' talk. All that does is put ourselves on the back foot, psychologically. Ask yourself this if you don't believe me: Arsenal's whining about the timing of tomorrow's game - had it done them any favour?
Yes, there are some very good teams in the draw but, hey, guess what? We're one of them!

Great post, mad4.

I really don't mind which team we're drawn against, as we proved on Tuesday that we are a match for anyone.

However, if we could avoid one of them, it would be BVB, as I've already seen them at Etihad; that's the only reason.

I missed the Real Madrid game, so I would be happy to see them or any of the other three teams we can draw.
