well said. Hasn't worked out the way we would have wanted, but we've had 'easier' draws in the past and still gone out. Bayern wont be chuffed to play us.Worst draw we could have had, but that's just the way it goes in Europe. We lost to Monaco and Lyon before when the draws were fine and we've beaten Real and PSG in other knockouts so not necessarily a bad thing.
Bayern were the team I least wanted. They've been excellent in Europe this season and the pace and movement up front from Mane, Gnabry, Sane is just the sort of thing we'd struggle against on the counter or otherwise.
Not great to be at home first either, going there for the away leg will be very difficult unless we have a big lead. Got to make the most of home advantage in the first leg.
They will be all over our defence with their pace I'm afraid. Also think Pep will match their formation and will overthink it.One thing we know is that at least Bayern will not sit back like other teams and will give us an opportunity to play. I believe in our strength when teams open up.
That's what I was thinking on 90 minutes at the berniie-beyoo last year!! :/I don’t mind this. It means if we get to the final we avoid Bayern/Real, much harder one off games
It’s a great draw. we’re better than either so I’d rather play them over two legs as it reduced the chances of a stray fuck up (reduces but doesn’t eliminate it obviously)Stinker of a draw
