They certainly did, It was clear as day what there intention was in the second leg..They showed us lots of respect and to be honest most of there players said that City were the better team...One of those games when you just have to take it on the chin and move on.

Yes, the best team will always win. It's a knockout competition; if you don't put the ball in the net and take your chances, you don't deserve to win. I think the point is that winner of a knockout competition may not necessarily be the best team. However, the winner of a league usually is the best team.
