Just looked at the match report, I only vaguely remember it.

Jamie Carragher was playing in Liverpool’s defence that day.

Tevez scored two, one from the penalty spot - Barry got the other. Roy Hodgson was managing Liverpool at the time.

David Silva was sat on the bench having just been signed… alongside Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Like a time capsule that report.

whats gonna be odd for me is watching such a big game and having virtually no idea how the opposition play or who their dangermen are.

not sure i’ve watched Inter Milan play a game of football for years
