Champions League Final | Post-Match Thread

Yep disappointed we lost, but thank fuck it’s over. I really couldn’t stand another few weeks like the ones we have just had. We need to remember where we’ve come from and how this is all fantasy stuff.

That got us to the final and won 3 out of the last 4 PL titles.
Suck it up scouser
He still made a stupid decision, and then he was too proud to correct it. CFC were getting straight onto our defence throughout that 1st half and of course they would. They had 3 quick forwrds whose game is made for that.

Pep played straight into Tuchel's hands. He made another colossal mistake. If he got fired tonight, no one would blame Mansour.

Chelsea never looked the slightest bit ruffled at any point in the game and they just kept to their game plan.

We looked clueless and it became more shambolic as the game went on. At least we don't feel robbed by the referee or VAR because the best team on the night won.

Tough to take but there you go.

How many of us would’ve thought we wouldn’t have to mention Lyon again this season then?

Tonight was disappointing but if someone said to me City will be in the Chumps League final 20 years ago I would not have believed them. City are a very well run club with exciting youth players coming through. Tonight is hard to take but we have come a long way and the future is bright...if we keep going in the same direction our time will come...
this is getting tired - “oh we were playing Macc 20 years ago etc”

we had a chance to be treble winners tonight and shove it up both Red wankers and it wont happen again.

We’d have been better off with Big Sam behind the bench tonight, at least Walker would have started chugging the ball up the pitch a lot earlier, hoping for a lucky bounce, instead of waiting till the added time.
