Champions League Final | Post-Match Thread

So still a bit raw from last night and having another think about team selection
Would we have won if we played our 11 what most people predicted? Maybe maybe not but at least I could stomach the result better if we did.
I'm sat here this morning all ifs and buts
So no defensive midfielder but put our leading goal scorer there
Foden destroying full backs on the left put him in centre mid where this week pep has even said he needs to learn and grow in that position
And then sterling. Ffs where do I start. What has he done in the past month to deserve a start
I think we're lucky Chelsea didn't bury us mate, lucky for us Werner can't finish.
See TT was laughing saying he couldn't believe we didn't play Fern.

Their heads went before kick-off, maybe due to the line-up.

We looked so disjointed and unorganised.

No one played well, but at least Walker tried to make a difference.

Could tell after 15 minutes or so, we didn't look right.

It was an awful performance, just horrendous.

Mind blowing to completely change the way we play.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but the difference between Pep's pre match interview and Tommy Ts said everything.

Pep was tetchy very tetchy before the match.

Pep is at fault I am not arguing with that. The players also are at fault. Win & lose together. The set up was wrong but individually the players caved when it was not working. No one stepped up and took control. It was like they needed their hand held be told exactly what to do.

The main point I agree with. Collectively we were nullified due to pep but individually they put up no fight. Manager fucked up but the players could and should have tried to reactify his mistakes.
All we needed to do was play the same team that beat Dortmund and PSG.

I'd be thinking he's a ****.
This might create problems.

I think Klopp lost the dressing room at Liverpool this season because he coached them really badly. If I was a City player I'd have big doubts as to what my coach was going to come up with in a big game.

What if we have a big game against Liverpool or Man Utd next season, and Pep prepares the player, and says this is what we are doing? And its something unusual. We might have a problem between coach and players.

We don't have a clue though do we. Just coming to terms with another Pep cock-up.

I just said to Ballague that Levy was pricing Kane out of a move but he said “he’s asked to move” and said (re the fee) “it’s very early days”
Haaland please, we need pace, presence, power and energy and long term value.
