Champions League Final | Post-Match Thread

Sorry, but the ref had nothing to do with our lineup tonight. In other crucial matches, Pep's come with some curious team selections & formations, when that ref was nowhere near. What was Pep's excuse then?

What happened tonight is exactly what many of us feared. Chelsea treated us with respect, we took the piss & got what we deserved. Nothing! That was ALL on Pep! :-(
The players didn't turn up either. It was a collective fuck up

Disrespectful to both the fans and the club coming out with this shit.

Basically thinks it’s beneath him to offer a valid explanation of the performance and his role in it.

Removing himself from any responsibility.
Oh fuck off! How is it disrespectful? It’s disrespectful what he had done for this club and you and others still slacking him off

17 goal passenger. He was played out of position tonight.
Passenger who almost s
You being serious about Gundogan? Pep threw him under the bus playing him as an holding midfielder.

You clearly don't watch us if you can't see what Gundogan is good at, he's vital to the way we usually play, he keeps hold of the ball so well. Also you should check who the leading goalscorer is.
His prodigious goal scoring efforts turned us from also rans to title favourites.

Ragged because there was no pivot. And there was no pivot because he put in Sterling instead. A guy who's been useless for months.

The whole team set-up was to accommodate Sterling starting, utterly bizarre.

If this was some kind of reverse psychological experiment to get a reaction from Raheem, at least afford the three lads in the middle a chance at making a press or tackle.

Fuck off, and don't say anything....we r enough shit for the rest of the summer.
It’s at times like this it’s best if the football genius says as little as possible, because tomorrow those few observations will be torn to shreds, just like his team selection…..

There have been many games that I have watched gundog and wondered what he brings to the team. Then, you see his stats and realise the impact he has.
He is one of those strange players that goes largely unNoticed, but is a vital cog in the machine.

Yeah when we are struggling to break teams down the slow patient build up is so important and he plays such an important role doing that.

NOT true,we are better, but they are very good.

I mean jesus christ, look at some of those rankings. Atletico apparently worse than Barcelona and Real Madrid despite just winning La Liga. Arsenal supposedly better than the Serie A champions. Man Utd better than CL semi-finalists PSG, when they got knocked out in the group stage. And wtf have Atalanta done to be considered the best team in Italy despite finishing third?

The fuck are you talking about? He basically said he picked the team he thought had the best chance to win...He just says i tried my best..how this arrogant?

Jeepers. If Gundog is crap and he's our top scorer this season then the rest of the players must be utterly atrocious.
He was top scorer when he was playing up front, with cancelo and Bernardo found the job he wasn't able to do in DM. he was just a body up front

I don't think he is. I think unlike the majority of us he thought this was the best selection. He's his own worst enemy at times but he's not a ****.
