Not a penalty. Don't do it to yourself.Looked like a penalty, has anyone seen a proper replay?

It’s not but if you want a results based one, as I’ve already said, try http://clubelo.com/It's absolute bollocks. They've got Brighton ahead of Leicester ffs. If the 16th placed team are ahead of a 5th place team who won a trophy this season, then your methodology is flawed.
Agree. Normally, when we lose we're the best team by a distance. Tonight we seemed to get in each other's way - no obvious options. Looked disjointed and players seemed unfamiliar with that totally attacking formation.Yep, agree with all that. It was a gamble. Desperate to come out flying and get the first. But it didn’t work - Chelsea defend with 7 players, decent players. Playing 3 at the back and 4 killing the space in front needs patience, needs a proper CM anchor, just like when we beat Conte’s 3 at the back counter attack team by the odd goal twice in 17/18. But if the gamble had worked and we got that early goal everyone would be talking about genius. Fine margins. But I’m just utterly gutted.
noFuck off
I've got BEST 1 of The Smiths on and it's making me feel much better.Night night all. Gone to get pissed and listen to some good tunes. Please don't fall out with each other.
I don't know anyone who thinks that's our best 11, Fern is in our best 11 even at his age.
To not play a defensive midfielder in the biggest game of the season was shocking, Gundo has been ourstanding this season, but he aint no defensive midfielder.
He did OK for me. I thought he, KDB and FOden linked well.He didn’t look like doing anything other than what he always does i.e. fucking up one on ones, tripping over the ball and running down dead ends…
Prick
You need to look up the word nuanced mate you are using it wrong. What does even half of what Pep has achieved actually mean?
I'm sure Pep's "thinking" was a tight game and 120 minutes perhaps?. He obviously wanted to drill them first half which unfortunately didn't happen.Succinct and 100% correct.
Not from me. For me he's contributed to city going out of every champions League competition in the pep era. Notably when pep picked him ahead of Kevin for the first leg against spurs. A total waste of a playerClass player a player whom deserves more respect on this board.
I'm sorry mate, but we'll have to agree to disagree. Why would we play a CDM against Everton in a dead rubber match, but not one tonight? With all respect, I disagree. That team selection was ALL about the referee.
Pep has made weird selections in the past but I've always been able to match that to negating the way the opposition play, even when it didn't work out.
Tonight was all about negating the way the ref likes to control the game.
Both were maybe the wrong approach but there's no way anyone can convince me tonight's selection and hesitancy to close down and put a tackle in were nothing to do with our experiences with Lahoz in the past.
Sums team selection up, if you really think that then why Gundo before Rodri or Ferdi , both better in that positionCan people stop saying we played a different formation tonight? We played the same we have played for months but asked Gundogan to play a different role. It was our normal formation
I literally don't understand people saying we played a different system. Can people stop saying we played a different formation tonight? We played the same we have played for months but asked Gundogan to play a different role. It was our normal formation
What is Chelsea's main attacking threat? Running with pace from deep. ABsolutely our defence needed cover. I said to my family watching that this was kamikaze football and we'll lose this and we did.Fair enough, it was still 10 of our strongest 11 though.
It’s not like the Lyon side he put out which was a complete fuck up.
Better????You're not wrong. Would I have picked Sterling? No. Not a chance. When he did play was he better than our other 6 attackers? Yes. This is all on Peps selection though, not Sterling.
