I think we should all be aware that, for the club, this isn't an event but a process, we may not get the result tonight we want but we will continue to evolve and grow. Even before today, good players are making overt/covert comments they want to sign, we win games more times than we don't. We now win most of the domestic trophies, fact.
My first season ticket was in 77/78 when we were good but not always great, The King's return, games against Widzew Lodz in UEFA, Littlewoods at home in League Cup S/F '81 and THAT disallowed goal, in those days I was always concerned we wouldn't get another chance, the days on The Kippax after a goal, but now.
Now, in many terms we have better 'players' behind the scenes, I want and expect to win tonight but this won't be our only timeor chance.
Look at all the so called big clubs
real madrid, barcelona,juventus,rags,dippers,milan....skint - no wonder they pushed for the superduper league, just a shame we agreed for a period. Perhaps the first major decision those in charge have made that was out of step with the fans in over 10 years.
Come on City, belief is all, keep the faith.
