Good morning ladies and gentlemen. The big day has arrived and I am looking forward to a marvellous match. It will not be easy for us. Chelsea have some good players and a tactically astute manager.
As long as we are alert to their fast breaks, we will win. We have too much fire power for them.

Am i the only one feeling really uncomfortable about the apparent confidence we have?

Much prefer us being in an underdog position and everyone seems to be writing Chelsea off.

Have a bad feeling that the occasion will get to us tonight.

I’m with you, I also have a bad feeling but that’s probably because I have been a blue for 56 years of my life. Old habits die hard. By the way hope we’re both wrong.

I was debating about going to the pub to watch it but have decided against it as it will now doubt be full of Chelsea fans and probably a few Gillingham fans who still haven’t forgotten about 99. I don’t fancy the aggro that will follow if we win or the gloating if they win.
will instead watch at home with a four pack of Amstel and hopefully wife and kids will go out for the evening.

To be honest, I've tried my best to avoid the hype. I've tried to push today to the back of my mind, but it's always there.

Today is all about one thing, & the tension is rising by the hour. I'm just hoping it doesn't get too much for me or the team.

We have every right to be confident, but essentially, I agree with you. I've been tracking Chelsea Shed End forum this week in parallel with this one, and they're very, very glum indeed, by and large. Makes me uncomfortable. I much prefer it when the opposition fans are full of themselves, entitled and bullish about their chances.
