Champions League Final | Things to see and do in Istanbul

I found the Grand Bazaar overrated. It’s a tourist trap and you’ll get fleeced unless you can haggle against an absolute pro.

I went out on Nevizade Street in Beyoğlu both nights. Plenty to eat and drink.

My mate says the many numerous brothels are some of the best in the world as is the local array of cannabis freely available on every street corner. Food is second to none and contrary to popular belief the Turks are some of the most friendly people I.... errrr my mate has ever met.

You can always jib in the ground with a forged ticket. If by any chance you fail, it will be UEFA's fault or the Turkish Police's fault, or the fault of local youths. You will be eligible for compo, even if you don't actually go.

For peace and relaxation go to Pierre Loti’s cafe. I walked up but I believe there is a chair lift now.
Depending on how much time you have, the ferry to the islands in the Sea of Marmara is brilliant. Good fish restaurant on Buyuk Ada.
