That said, circa 60% of the allocation goes to points holders. So that’s about 12,000 tickets for this match, which also includes the 18-25 allocation and the junior pull through.

The tricky thing for the club is that they have to take every request for an access code as if the person will buy a ticket when offered a chance. However, we know that they’ll be a lot of people with a code that don’t buy. This means that the club have to structure criteria around the total access codes. Whilst they’ve told me not to reveal the exact number of requests, the amount from those on the cup scheme wasn’t that far over the number reserved for points holders.

That may go some way to explaining why the criteria ends where it does. However, in my opinion, based on the price of tickets and ‘dormant’ codes, I still think it’ll easily make seasoncard holders not on the schemeS

Sorry if already asked - can you create the account with uefa before you get the access code or do you have to wait to get the code sent at allocated time before you can create your account ?

You can create your account beforehand, then when you get your code login again and input your code from City and then just follow the instructions. It is really easy. The info in the email from City gives you step by step instructions.

The passport details were needed for Porto because they were the common thread between a negative covid test and travel documents.

Ok in my humble opinion I think personal details will still form part of the mobile ticket. I would rather work to that assumption than not just incase those checks are in place again for this year

Did they give a reason why they feel the need to keep the actual number who requested a code as some big state secret?

They didn’t, but it is one of my annoyances with ticketing. I’ve asked for them to publish the breakdown before.

I’m sure that United, to their credit, do it. Inter Milan even let their fans know how many season-card holders they had, as well as their equivalent of membership.

It was not mentioned with the intention of scare mongering but rather stating how it has been done before and if Uefa have all those details still then I don’t understand why it would change but I have edited the original post to reflect that. Hopefully you’re happy with that now ;-)

All people have done so far is purchase Tickets, The delivery of tickets will be made via email where you then have to download the UEFA ticket App .. When you log on there to down load your ticket You HAVE to enter you Name and Passport details to load your ticket on to the App.
I wish people would do proper research before posting comments on here with False information

If nearly half the allocation is gone before it gets to fans I see many fucking it off next season if they don’t get one, the only thing going in their fa our would be Wembley and a possible 30k allocation, would be interested to know what the rags and Barca got in 2011

It might indicate that not so many people are on the cup scheme in the lower points bracket, hence a bigger drop. It may also indicate that the club is confident that all cup scheme members will get one because they're willing to implement such a sharp drop.

Totally plus in sweeps everything up and allows further categories to commence on Tuesday
