Moving the final to the UK in these extraordinary times, & giving Istanbul next years' final makes perfect sense. But since when has perfect sense ever made sense to the senseless shysters at UEFA?

It should be for the good of the two clubs, reps and staff first and foremost in these Covid times we live in. Villa Park in England is the best choice. That of course then allows fans to attend safely as well.

I 100% understand and agree with the reasons why people want it moved and saving fans money, and getting a few more fans in.


But on the other hand I think it would be a bit of an anticlimax for the players to get to a European Cup final and end up simply replaying the FA Cup semi final at Wembley.

On the other hand 14 games at Wembley in 5 years so far isn't it? Won 11, Lost 3. Not bad

I think it's a different prospect at Hampden Park, Millennium Stadium or Old Trafford though. 3 grounds where we most likely will never play Chelsea again.

I know it makes perfect sense and seems the logical thing to do, which is exactly the reason it won't happen. Pretty much zero chance Uefa will do anything for the benefit of the fans regardless of how sensible that decision might be.
