20k allocation. City don't announce how many are on the cup scheme assuming that's what you mean by direct debit. I'd guess at maybe 20k also, but lots won't go who are on it for various reasons.2k allocation? Any idea how many are on the direct debit scheme?

I would guess we have less on the CL scheme than any of the domestic cups, solely by the number of unfamiliar faces/tourists around me at European games

That's actually fairly sensible. The key thing in that statement though is that 15600 of the 20000 are in the lower two brackets so 'only' 4400ish in the ridiculously overpriced bracket.UEFA have pulled the 5000 free tickets. That's how I read it. 4,400 tickets to each club in Cat 3 and 4 price categories.
Better than the club doing a ballot of free tickets and then having to sell the rest in the usual points system to cup scheme members then filtering down. All in about a week so people can book to get there in time! Spreads a saving to more people, and more loyal fans at that. A good decision.
