Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

It looks like they’ve booked the lot from the IBIS to the Hilton! I got a room at the IBIS on South Way for £44 on Friday. Of course, there’s a chance we might be subject to having to travel on specific transport like the League Cup final with no overnight stay allowed but the restrictions are a little more relaxed now.

Just browsing trains and Avanti are saying no timetables are confirmed for the Saturday and coming home Sunday. Anyone else having the same issue?

Last direct is normally at 9pm on the Saturday.

Not sure if this has been mentioned on this thread (not been all the way back), but thought worst just noting that in March last year before football stopped, these are the prices that UEFA announced for the then Champions League Final to be played in Istanbul May 2020

Category 4: €70
Category 3: €180
Category 2: €450
Category 1: €600

I've got a mate from work who is a Liverpool fan who paid 400 euros when they got to Kiev in 2018 so I'd expect that, knowing UEFA, don't be surprised if they are of a similar level as/when things get announced.

Also on this link below, based on a Capacity of 72,000 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, the finalists were due to get 20,000 each, so 40,000 out of 72,000 which is just over 55%

So, do we assume based on 25,500 that has been touted, using the same % split is just over 14,000 tickets so 7,000 to each team with the rest to whoever UEFA deem worthy?

Hopefully we'll know by the end of today

And UEFA had the neck to say they're for the fans, €400!
Madness!

The biggest problem is the number of tickets we would get. If it stays the same allocation as Istanbul that is a kick in the teeth to fans. The Times are saying it will be between 4 and 6,000. This is due to the corrupt bastards at uefa taking the majority.
Boris could secure thousands of North West votes by allowing 50k inside the Etihad South

Doubt if UEFA officials and hangers-on would be seen dead in a cheap Wembley hotel. If you’re booked into the Dorchester or the Savoy you might have a problem.

the sponsors will take those hotels and you also have the production staff.
Is quite an indication.

Wasn't the 4-6k for the game if it were to be played in Istanbul?

I get that mate I really do. I should have made it clear my initial take was on the basis we would get 10k tickets. Therefore I felt it fair that the 2k who went would get first dibs then the 8k get access based on loyalty points and cup scheme as per usual. As you say whatever happens I just hope the loyal fans get the tickets and not the corporate’fans’
Some of us were prevented form attending the cup final due to our post code and not because we didn’t want to go and now your trying to reduce our chances of going to this !! We travel 300 mile round trip for every home game and were in all 3 cup schemes , we do this not just because of our love for the club but also to give a better chance of obtaining tickets for the biggest games. How many of those 2000 would of got tickets if it was open to all and not a post code lottery ?

What do you class as sizeable?
4k would get to about the mid-teens on points I think. A lot of other factors to take into account though like what hoops they want us to jump through. Proportion of €70 tickets to €600 tickets as well. If there are only 4k tickets but they're all €600 then we wont sell out, because there are not enough idiots (of which I include myself) who would pay that.
