Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

Can we put pressure on the Govt to allocate more tickets? I don’t think 12k per team is too much in a 95k stadium.

Am I right in thinking UEFA have a massive travelling entourage that they don't quarantining - hence they won't switch it to Wembley ?
It's one of the stumbling blocks that needs to be overcome by the Westminster government. They will almost certainly need to grant quarantine exemptions, which would be extremely unpopular. But by no means impossible.

I actually wrote my initial post before Turkey was put on the red list. At the time, it was totally unexpected by everyone, not least UEFA.

The biggest problem is the number of tickets we would get. If it stays the same allocation as Istanbul that is a kick in the teeth to fans. The Times are saying it will be between 4 and 6,000. This is due to the corrupt bastards at uefa taking the majority.
Boris could secure thousands of North West votes by allowing 50k inside the Etihad South
He wouldn't!

The tory **** wouldn’t get my vote if he gave us 90000 tickets

Sadly it would not work. They would have to change their own rules about capacity. If they can do it for the CL then they'd be expected to do it for the early Euros games.

Just move it to York. Anyone there back in the day, gets in, it would be the biggest crowd ever at a football match beating the previous York world record, when you add in the few thousand Chelsea fans that can locate ‘the north’ on a map, and the uefa travelling circus entourage.

NB anyone on the hill at Blackburn that wasn’t at York, gets to go to the Hill in the middle of York and watch on big screen.
