Another thing unconfirmed (not as pressing to be fair). The initial suggestion was Istanbul might get it in 2023 or 2024 instead.

My suspicion is they've already created the branding for St Petersburg 22. Eg the football to be used will say road to St Petersburg etc

Just because I know so many people enjoyed my updates, over the last 7 days Turkey has 101 cases for every 100,000 and will probably drop below 100 when todays information is updated. Lockdown there is over, although the curfew remains in place for locals.

At least moving the game to Porto has removed any uncertainty :)

UEFA and the Portuguese government have requested that all official travel is restricted to day trip private charters to reduce the chance of spreading COVID-19, due to thousands of supporters expected travel from the UK
