Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

Jimbo’s like one of those really annoying high school friends you haven’t managed to shake off and insist on telling the same joke for 20 years
And has obviously been paid off by Abramovitch to try and stop City fans going to support their team...haha!!!. These Russians are devious buggars.

I’m not blaming City. It’s UEFA
......or Portugal, they are the hosts, they will impose regulations UEFA will have to abide by, same as wembley was discussed, no way was our government going to let in thousands of largely unnecessary "hangers on", without following our regulations, and rightly so, which is why it's not being played here.

I posted this in the Sporting Options thread but it goes for all of you guys that are taking a punt over there.

I'm not entertaining going for a variety of reasons but I really hope the club (although not initially their fault) don't fuck this up for you lot.

It's noticeable that there's not been any sort of leak as to what's happening.

Fingers crossed for you all tomorrow and that zero shit hits the fan (no pun intended) with either bubbles or ticket distribution.

The more I think about it the more I think independent travellers will be able to purchase tickets, they’ll just be discouraged. I can see 1-2k flying on official club trips, and the rest collecting their ticket in Porto with ID etc. Then a fair few without tickets just enjoying a weekend in Porto crammed in to bars to watch it, subject to any current restrictions. That’s my optimistic-best-case-scenario outcome.

"We will publish information to supporters on Tuesday May 18 outlining the sales process which will open on Wednesday May 19.

The Club will be offering qualifying supporters an official day trip travel package from Manchester to Porto.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued patience."

I suspect this means tickets will only be given to fans who book with City. Outrageous for the diehards who have gone out of their way to watch the match. Would go myself but living in Kent, having to go to Manchester for a flight is just too much. No doubt the Chavs will have multiple options of airports. It is a farce.

Completely agree. I cannot see any non package ticket sales. City will be under strict instructions to account for all sales and travel arrangements of those who purchase.
