1st June apparentlyIt is expected that if the ambassadors reach an agreement the decision will be formally adopted at the EU trade ministers council on Thursday (20 May).
Hopefully it will be with immediate effect to give people time to cancel their PCR tests and get a refund.
If you think about it, the 72 hour rule would be pretty harsh if you had a test at 3pm on the Thursday and your flight home was due to take off at 2pm on the Sunday which would fall within the 72 hours, but then the flight home was delayed for 2 hours, so 3 days regardless of times makes more sense.Fair enough, sorry my mistake. Germany specifically says 72 hours and I assumed UK was doing the same.
Where did you read that?1st June apparently
I'm sure i read on here that they're available to purchase in chemists/at the airport mate. Before I buy a test to take over with me has anyone found anywhere in Lisbon/Porto that offers the rapid LFT test?
My insiders tell me that risk is still the same, although the Covid security marshals will be in full kevlar body armour and will be disinfecting their batons between beatings.Hi @jimbo101 is there any update? I ask cos the info is out today but if it is still PCR tests, bubbles and no zebra pants I don't think I'll bother.
No appointment needed just go to the synlabs kiosk at the airport, rapid test 30 euro. Or you can go to one of the many places in the centre of porto up to you mate.Have you managed to book a test ( lateral flow or PCR ? ) in Portugal before you come back to the UK. ? This part of all the testing is the bit that concerns me. Any advice ? Like you , I've booked flights and hotels ( 4 nights ) .
I'm in a similar position. I have nearly 14000 points but don't have a 2020/2021 season ticket because of covid (deferred or whatever the option was), so therefore not in cup scheme. I've been in the cup scheme every season until now. I'm travelling over anyway even knowing I'm not getting ticketAfter spending days on here trying to reassure people that 6000 is a lot of tickets and a lot aren't bothering going, I'm at the mercy of being hoisted by my own petard.
two of us have booked Spike's two night trip. Im on the cup scheme with 15000 points and not worried in the slightest about getting a ticket. My mate has about 12,000. So far so good. He's booked his PCR and we are all systems go. He's just texted me tonight and he forgot to join the cup scheme in 19/20.
Normally I'd use someone else's card to get his ticket but not sure that will be possible this year. So basically if it doesn't go down to non cup scheme season ticket holders he's screwed.
Where did you read that?
