Champions League Final | Travel Requirements + COVID Tests

All this nonsense these UEFA Scum have put our fans through to get to this final is absolutely fucking disgusting.
I will watch it of course as not to cut my nose off , but it will be the last game I watch as long as these cunts have anything to do with it.
It’s pointless going to these games and booing after you have given them your money, these pigs need boycotting!

Yeah I guess I’m going to book the one that the OSC recommends, but it’s still the same issue where you drop it off on Friday and risk not getting the result back in time! If you do it on Thursday it won’t be valid for the flight back early Sunday (potentially).

stressful!
The official government rules are 3 days, not strictly 72 hours. They even state if you take a test on a Tuesday you can land friday. So Thurs-Sun is good.

Does anyone know if a negative PCR is all you need for flights or do you need the fit to fly certificate too. Think I selected the option for just the test and without fit to fly certificate.

I'm not 100% sure on the answer, so when in doubt I would say get one if you can.

Much better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Think I'll call them tomorrow to see if they'll swap the booking. What a palaver.

Hopefully you shouldn't need to swap the booking or anything.

Depends on the company but some include it, and some have it as a chargeable extra.
If it's the latter then a simple heads up to them tomorrow that you'll also want the certificate should do the trick.

Although I think you'd be mostly fine without it.....imagine missing the Champions League final because the airline didn't let you board without a bloody certificate.

I hate to say it but the law of averages mean some travelling City fans will encounter problems that could ultimately lead to them missing out altogether (incorrect/missing documents, positive test, test result not back in time, expired passport, forgotten passport, missed flight etc).....anything you can do to cover your back and mitigate situations is advisable.

(I'm gonna look so fucking stupid if it's me that misses out!)

Not sure if it's been mentioned previously but passport details for the flight need to be submitted tonight.

Luckily checked emails just now..and received email at 4.30 saying that flight details must be submitted by the 22nd (today).
