Champions League Final | Who’s NOT going to Istanbul?

I'm not going , Australia is a tad too far.
Shite decision to have the final in Turkey, why not change it to somewhere in between the 2 countries like France. People could drive.
Airlines always jack prices up x3 or 4 when there's an event on.

Need to know the result before I watch the game so can manage the stress levels. Not as exciting as watching it live but still enjoyable and a lot less stressful.

Thank goodness I knew the result of last season's Villa game before I watched it as that would definitely have finished me off if I'd seen it live.

Cardiologist advised me that emotional stress constricts the arteries so watching City live isn't ideal for someone with heart problems !

It is what it is.

Presume you need Staurt Pearce back ;) hope things improve for you

Major heart problems so on medical advice can't attend games any more or even follow City games live !

Every match day is like that episode of The Likely Lads where they don't want to know the score so they can watch the game later !

For both FA Cup Final and CL Final will have to wait till 3 hours after kick off to ensure game definitely over then hopefully celebrate like a kid at Christmas !!

Same as you, I can watch the matches but the ticker inevitably starts racing and I have to check out for five minutes telling myself "it's just a game, it's just a game" then back for another 30 minutes of near life-ending stress. And that was just the Chelsea game. Football, eh?

We are not playing in Australia

Hopefully at the Banshee with the rest of the Boston branch of the MCFC Supporters club. Woop!
(To my shame, I haven't made it in there in ages...)

I won’t be going.
I will hook up the VPN and find a foreign free to air channel and watch it free of the usual pundits snide remarks.

I’m not. 1 week ago today I was speaking to my sisters boy, Tyler 20 years old, organising the trip and at 8.15 the next morning she rings me hysterical at work saying he isn’t breathing. He had suffered a cardiac arrest in bed and it took 3 crews of paramedics, the fire service and the air ambulance doctor over 90 mins of working on him to get him to North Manchester in an induced coma. Between that moment and Wednesday we honestly thought we would be saying goodbye to him, even the doctors didn’t hold out much hope but we got the miracle and he is now awake and talking to us.

It will be a long road to recovery but get well Tyler pal, my nephew and a fellow blue.

Huge thanks to all the first responders and staff at North Manchester who saved the lads life, heroes all of them.
