Champions League Final

Liverpool do a lot of pushing and grabbing, and it looked like Salah initially grabbed Ramos to stop him taking the ball, then Ramos fought back, grabbed Salah and threw him to the ground. Clearly a deliberate throw, but only as part of the retaliation to Salah's initial grab, and no intent to really hurt him.

If it was the other way round, they'd say Salah should have been stronger.
Ramos did one on Salah quotation marks, if you take my meaning. Very clever, very gifted, very physical, very Real Madrid defensive player, make a tackle look innocuous but when both go down Madrid player is turning sideways absorbing the impact, his opponents impact is spiralled, hitting the earth square on with force, fuck you, your future impact in the game is anulled, goodbye crying motherfucker. That's how tough and calculating multiple champion league winners are.

You might be right, and I do feel a sorry for Salah if he misses the WC, but I'm still very bitter about their (and the media's) reaction to Mane almost taking Ederson's head off.

You are right, I personally hate violence in any shape or form, I despise it, it makes me sick, I never wish to advocate it and I shouldn't advocate it ever.

He landed on Salah's right arm, which suffered no injury.

I showed the still frame because it shows Salah grabbed Ramos, not the other way round. He initiated the contact and pulled Ramos over. If Ramos then lands on him awkwardly, it's not his fault.

It was an excellent judo / jiu jitsu move. Any judo player would have clapped it as such. Whether Ramos is capable of such a move when grabbed by an opponent is open to debate. Just because somebody starts a grab means fuck all if the other person knows how to counter it.

Well played I say.

Love the fact that Bale's overhead kick will be repeated ad nauseum for years to come, it will always be highlighted as one of the greatest ever goals in a Champions League final (alongside Zidane's goal in Glasgow).

So the scouse bus smashing cxnts will be reminded of this night for years to come.

Yep, deservedly so too. Brilliant goal. Cry me a fucking river dipperpool.

Well...as some have commented, there are certain moves that carry a high risk for your oppo...
Lad holding the back of my shirt got his arm hyperextended against the elbow by a simple reach over and sweep that looked like I'd just accidentally moved the wrong way (for him).
He didn't grab shirt much more after that...

Exactly.

will you lot stop beating around the bush !! the dippers got a footballing lesion tonight, a right royal pasting, and well deserved ! they are not that good, at times they are a one man team, if they were that good when the messiah went off it would be no problem. it was, come on , all have a laugh, they are shyte, have been for years. long may it continue

Well,it wasn't a dream :-)) Although the 'blink and you'll miss it' coverage on the BBC might have you believe different.
