Also shows the cost of being out of the Champions League, you have to be in it every season to progress.
Liverpool use to be a shoe in for the Champions League knockout rounds now look at them.

They could of done a lot better recruiting in the summer. They have followed Spurs in blindly wasting money and will have one hell of a job in shifting their players.

I think Spurs and Liverpool have shown now that if you get so much money for One player then you have to invest a huge amount of that in 1 big player.
Liverpool should have gone for Sanchez straight away and then brought in players to support him.
The problem is that teams at the level of Tottenham and Liverpool cannot attract those star players. Liverpool and Tottenham both should have spent the money better, but there was no way they could attract another 60 million plus player.

On another note, Ramsey scored an absolute screamer for arsenal. Goal of the season contender.

I am going to get slated but I rate him more highly than Ross Barkley.
I think nobody would argue that he is currently a much better player than Barkley, but I don't think he has Barkley's talent or potential.

Ramsey has a 3 year advantage in playing time in the Premier League over Barkley. Both have had their fair share of injuries but Ramsey has bounced back quicker.

same points as us but with ludicrous and basel brush in their group.think Brenda had better find his cv for the villa assistants job

Reminds me of our first CL, where we went out on a record number of points in a very difficult group, whilst United failed to make it out of a mediocre one. You just know we would have walked the rag group then and the Liverpool one now. Fucking Twattini.

Exactly that's a big difference at that age. Barkley has only had one proper season as well.

How the fuck can pig ginger, Blobby Fowlup and Lee Dixon claim that Markovic was unlucky to be sent off?

It was a premeditated slap to the face, even if only his fingertips caught the Basle player. He looked twice - that's TWICE- to check that he was in range before hitting him.

Only had a look at it once but the Dipper player swung his arm backwards when moving at speed, a peculiar way of running. He was still moving when he noticed how close the ref was. He immediately put his head in his hands. Guilty M'Lud.

said this a few pages back, from one angle you can see his elbow come out first then because the player had not caught up the extended arm went out to his face, very crafty he new what he was doing and deserved to go
Sorry mate I missed your post, mind you it was that far back it could have been in the Domesday Book.:)

Because they are right. It was one of the worst decisions I have seen this season. Lots of players use the hand off. It's never a red card. I would be disappointed if a ref even blew up for a free kick.

EDIT
Ribery would get 10 red cards a game.

Yep. You'd have thought the Spurs experience would have been a factor in Brenda's thinking about how best to invest the Jaws to Barca money. Clearly it wasn't. I bet the American owners are uber impressed with this shit.

I hope all you people are lighting candles for poor Steeeeeeevie.
