The problem is that teams at the level of Tottenham and Liverpool cannot attract those star players. I think Spurs and Liverpool have shown now that if you get so much money for One player then you have to invest a huge amount of that in 1 big player.
Liverpool should have gone for Sanchez straight away and then brought in players to support him.

Exactly that's a big difference at that age. Because they are right. It was one of the worst decisions I have seen this season. Lots of players use the hand off. It's never a red card. It was a premeditated slap to the face, even if only his fingertips caught the Basle player. He looked twice - that's TWICE- to check that he was in range before hitting him.
