Champions League Games 1/2 November '22

There'll be fewer shit games. Take this season for example - you can argue that none of the last three group games really mattered. Dortmund away was one of very few City matches I've seen that made me actually feel sorry for the people who had paid to be in the stadium - nobody really wanted to score.
the world cup cricket got it right let minnows play each other top teams then enter comp at knock out stage

or is that whats happen this year the big teams falling to europa league ;)

no they wont itll be seeded, the g14 teams will make sure they get through
Yeah pretty much, unless they collapse as have the 3 I aforementioned did this year, it'll be set up to ensure they make the knockouts.

Having looked at the new Champions League format coming season after next, I'm sorry to say that I kind of love it.

No guarantee it will work this way in reality but the idea of playing ten teams from vastly different leagues sounds better to me than the current structure. There are far too many meaningless matches in GW5 and 6 of the group stages every year, this solves that. And if, say, PSG draw a much weaker team from somewhere like Israel, they're not basically guaranteed six points under the new structure.

Only downside is the wildcard spots.
My issue is that cunts ike the rags can walk straight into it. Getting revenue they don't deserve at the expense of another club which might have a good season and deserve it.

No Benzema for Madrid, looks like Rodrygo up front. Full strength otherwise.
