Champions League Games 11/12 October '22

Yup, but even if Barca draw vs Bayern Inter would be through with a draw vs Plzen, and the last group match wouldn't matter anymore.

Here's a calculator (only available in german, sorry) where you can play through your scenarios. Choose the group and insert future results by +/- and the table will instantly update - by taking into account the priority of the h2h rule:

Cheers. Well, the Barca v Bayern game should make for an interesting watch like the one against Inter. Hopefully.

I wasn’t being wholly serious!
Just tried to give an explanation why it went downhill in the second half. Pilsen was a match where you could fast make subs - but Bayern already had to start without a lot of their usual starters. That is somehow good as like this you give match time to players that for sure would not get them against Dortmund or Freiburg in the current situation - but it is just players that aren't as good as the first players and they do not have the match rhythm and the experience as others.

Inter should make a meal out of Pilsen, too, especially at home and Barcelona should totally off hope in the match on MD 5 as Inter plays in the early matches on that evening. The only group match Bayern has drawn in the last four years was an away match against Atletico Madrid where they started with a B-team.

Yeah, for the top few sides in Europe, the group stages are largely a non-event these days. They’re literally the tool to get you into the knockout phase of the tournament, where the real football is played.
