Mental we never took a chance on Nuno Mendes
Indeed but he’s one player where (sad as it may sound) I’d take bets with mates (in the past) on if he gets injured after a challenge or not. However, his injury record got better in recent seasons but I stopped watching Bundesliga properly seasons ago.It doesn’t help that he slammed his own leg into the floor all by his own doing to do another two rolls in that challenge just before.

I watch the pace of these teams, both in midfield and attack, and I realise that we can’t afford to give the ball away at this level. Not even once.

We get caught out with mediocre premiership teams….I watch the pace of these teams, both in midfield and attack, and I realise that we can’t afford to give the ball away at this level. Not even once.
