Inter are tragic at build up play. They pass backwards a few times, then they even like to dribble backwards to retreat further, then it goes to the keeper and he either passes short to commence a series of panicky passes just waiting to be taken advantage of, or he lumps it long and they lose it. It’s the first time I’ve watched Inter in years and if this is any way indicative of how they normally play, my God they are shit.

You really notice how good we are when you watch a match really wanting a team you don’t support to win. We are spoilt

I've quite enjoyed this half, they squeezing each other all over the pitch. Positively surprised by Inter dynamism, they are definitely able to hurt the dippers. They are very tough to break and I only see Vidal fucking it up in the MF with his over-confidence. Inzaghi is turning to be a really good coach.

Adeyemi looks a player. Lot of hype around him, I expect somebody will get a bargain, hopefully it's dortmund to replace Haaland rather than any of our divisional rivals.

In the studio for the other game then, the camera panned to Hargreaves’s while Glen Hoddle was talking and Owen had a look on his face as if to say “you don’t know what you’re taking about you know-nowt ****”.
