Champions League Games | 16/17/18 Sept '24

Was hoping when Arsenal play Inter away we could rest some players but they are looking very strong vs City so seems like we'll need to play a full strength side again.

I watched a TON of Girona last season. Gazzaniga is a CRAP keeper. No surprise whatsoever ... and I thought Jhon Solis played very solid in the 2nd half ... way better than vs Barca.

Watching the Feyenoord vs Leverkusen game. We're all familiar with Leverkusen, due to their exploits last season. Have to be honest here, I'm not a big follower of the Eredivisie; what sort of side are Feyenoord? Could they pull off what would probably be seen as a shock?

Probably not. They lost Slot in the summer and haven’t started this season that well.

They’re not dreadful though and could win, but unlikely.

I guess that's that answered. 1 down after 4 minutes.

Boniface did the Henry pass and it led to the goal, brilliant.

Always comes across as clumsy to me but that's superb skill.

That’s pisspoor defending by Feyenoord.

Interesting how these commentators are bigging up Frimpong. I wonder if that’s just because he left us because he doesn’t look anything special to me.

Edit, although that was a great cross to Wirtz
