Champions League Games 21/22 Nov

Looking at the current state of the groups, I don't think it matters whether you finish 1st or 2nd this year.

You just know a revived Bayern Munich will be heading our way in the draw though.

A Real Madrid with just the CL to focus on is not a team I would want to face either.
 
Every 2nd placed side will be praying they don’t get us, we’re the best team in europe at the min & long may it continue

As Pep said, the second leg being at home is the advantage of coming top of the group.
I'm not sure we will get fixed up with one of the UEFA darlings; they won't want to risk losing Madrid or Bayern that early in the comp ;-)

Bayern, Juve, Real, Basel, Porto, Roma, Sevilla

or

PSG, Barcelona, Besiktas

Odds-wise still better to finish top
