The new rule is supposed to be for unintentional handball by someone other than the goal scorer. Looked intentional to me and that aspect wasn’t even discussed.

Looked a perfectly good goal to me think benfica have had there pants pulled down.

this could cost them a place in the last 16 and it just gets left as if it’s ok as only benfica . Not even a var check ? That should be scrutinised by var with different camera angles etc , i could be wrong but im adamant that corner didn’t go out of play

Just watched in slow mo several times, he 100% turned his arm round towards the ball for whatever reason he had. That’s a handball, very deliberate and not being paranoid if that’s us and it gets checked by VAR, it’s wiped out.
