That Chelsea penalty was a joke, it very clearly smashed up off his leg absolutely nothing he could do to get out of the way of it, we may as well have robot refs as they no longer have any common sense of their own and then to book him and send him off on top of it is truly pathetic. The entire game is a complete mess. Covid is a blessing in disguise for me, I’d never have given up football beforehand but I don’t think I’ll ever go back now.

What happened to that double jeopardy rule about not punishing the opposition twice,pen but no red card was it or I’m I getting mixed up with something else ..

The game is seriously f....d ! It was bad enough before VAR with terrible refereeing but now it’s even worse. I would think there are many, many people like you who have lost it with the game and will never return even when it’s safe. This is going to cost the game millions of pounds in the long run and will destroy it as a spectator sport.

Bloody VAR decision at Chelsea is barking mad, and the player sent off - the world has gone mad.

Peter Walton on BT said it was penalty because the player made himself "unnaturally" bigger. It's the law he said. But he would say that wouldn't he?

I dont think Walton ever thinks the referee has got it wrong. Perhaps he doesnt understand that if refs were always right there would be no VAR.
