Champions League Games 3rd & 4th Oct '23

Missed out with Bellingham didn’t we? Can do everything to an elite level.

Just glad he went there and not a domestic rival
We definitely did. He would have bossed it at Wolves, although I wonder if Pep would have used him in the same attacking mould as Ancelotti has, or looked to have him as more of a box to box player. With De Bruyne injured he would have given us some drive which certainly would have helped without Rodri pulling strings.

Glad to see him abroad instead as you say, and look forward to knocking him out the CL!

Cant be arsed with the rags game but I presume the commentary team have mentioned the difference in squad cost, and are all over how galatasaray can "get at" rags defence and bigging up the turks players like they do with us.

Hmmm, Or is it the same old cringy and unnecessary superlatives and positive stats applied every time a rag player is mentioned.

Anyone who didnt know would think they were smashing it at every level.
To be fair to the commentary in the Napoli v Madrid game, the commentator said, ‘the last team to beat Napoli here in Europe was Manchester City in November 2017, and who can forget Real Madrid’s last away game in Europe when City beat them 4-0 at the Etihad’.

Didn’t have to mention us, but did.
