We definitely did. He would have bossed it at Wolves, although I wonder if Pep would have used him in the same attacking mould as Ancelotti has, or looked to have him as more of a box to box player. With De Bruyne injured he would have given us some drive which certainly would have helped without Rodri pulling strings.

Glad to see him abroad instead as you say, and look forward to knocking him out the CL!
He’s probably going to be the most complete midfielder in the world (he’s not far off now), my female Sunderland supporting friend reckons his brother Jobe has the ability to make it at a high level and he’s just turned 18.
