That was just one bad game. Madrid have been very good this season. Benzema has been in the form of his life.
I just think they're a good matchup for us, can get at their weaknesses and limit the chances their best players get.

Don’t forget we’ve lost to Liverpool who finished 25 points behind us, Spurs who finished 27 points behind us, Lyon who were 7th in Ligue 1, and Chelsea who finished 23 points behind us.As good as he is, we'd dominate Real Madrid, pedestrian midfield, questionable defence. Their quality is up top but they'd barely get the ball near our goal.

Tuchel won't be happy.Chelsea's defence has gone to shit in the last few weeks.
Real Madrid are the precise sort of team we do well against in Europe: A strong side that aren't recently familiar with playing a team that absolutely dominates the ball (like City).Think we'd turn them both over but for the sake of avoiding an English team and the scars of last year still stuck in the memory I'd rather get Real Madrid. I don't really rate Real either, I watched Barca tear them apart not long ago.

Which is a fair point but we're also better than Barcelona, I just think it's a good matchup for us.
