A bit of a generalisation here but there seems to be a weird mentality difference between the two sets of fans.

Feel like I see a lot of pessimism from City fans, and City pundits talking about a horrible fun of fixtures etc.
Yet comments from Liverpool fans seem to be full of confidence and just expect to beat us.

They've only been us once in 8 attempts in the last 3 and a bit years. I see no reason we don't continue our recent good record against them.

I don’t think it’s a weird mentality on both sides just one.

One set of fans remain grounded whilst the other set have small club mentality where they keep having to tell themselves they are the best coz no other fucker will.
