I didn’t see that, but Bayern walked towards the goal and sat down in the area, looking at the crowd. Bizarrei saw rags sat on the turf

I know it's only 1 game and teams will look very different come march/april/may but there's nobody that seems anywhere near our level. We will never have a better chance to retain it. Im not greedy though, a double treble is a tall ask. Our squad isn't big enough so i'll settle for a league and champions league double.
Well said PC, the gospel according to Paul.Yes and no. We have probably been the best team in Europe for a few years now but only won it once. When we get to the knockout stages it's a lottery and anything can happen. Look at our game last night. We really should have won that game 10-1 but it took two great finishes and a goalkeeping error to finally win it, against a much inferior side.
We battered everyone in sight on the way to last year's final but once there struggled against an Inter side everyone said was very much second favourites. It took some huge slices of luck to finally get it over the line.
Based on the 1st round of matches Arsenal were streets ahead of how City played against Red Star. Of course we know that it is not the case in reality that Arsenal are a better team than City but I wanted to point out that based on your statement of looking at things after round 1 only that City were on a different level to anyone else then clearly you didn't watch the Arsenal game, plus PSV are a significantly better team than Red Star and were on a 26 game unbeaten run in all competitions.I know it's only 1 game and teams will look very different come march/april/may but there's nobody that seems anywhere near our level. You literally couldnt be more wrong in what you just said about arsenal playing significantly better than city , we had 37 attempts on goal against a team that was set up to defend deep and their keeper had an absolutely worldy.Based on the 1st round of matches Arsenal were streets ahead of how City played against Red Star. That being said PSV made the error of being attacking and playing a high defensive line and the fact Kai Haavertz looked good shows how naieve PSV were but Arsenal would have beaten most teams last night.
Still think City are the most likely to win the CL though, with Real 2nd favourites. Didn't rate Bayern last night although they have the players to hurt any team

The thing about bottling is you're a bottling team until one day you aren't. Exactly the same as City in the CL - bottled it vs Chelsea, vs Madrid. And then one day, as you know, you're no longer a bottler because you win it.Arsenal are consistent bottle jobs
They have added depth but 9 out of 10 games will line up with the same 10 outfield players with the only question positions at LB and CF
They will gas and they will find how much Europe truely takes out of you, something they aren't used to
And if we come up again them, they will fall apart even in the CS where we were completely undercooked we were on top for pretty much the entire game
