It may benefit us but I’m not sure that the round of 16 should ever have been seeded. I suppose it would have made group stage a bit pointless for many clubs though but would’ve made for a more exciting knock out tournament

Who do we want through from tonight's games? Normally you'd want the better sides out but we've steamrolled both Bayern and PSG in recent times and I'd fancy us to do them again if we drew them, however they're 2 sides who could easily do over the likes of arsenal, madrid and inter in the next round.

PSG will go through but I wouldn’t shed a tear to see Bayern out!

The only team that worries me right now is Inter. I think they are a great team that doesn't depend on individuals (just like us). We really are the favorites.

This. I can’t work out if football is currently suffering from a lack of talent, or more likely the talent is spread thinly across lots of clubs, as although Inter are a good team, they wouldn’t normally be seen as being competitive in this competition with their squad.

Also, maybe it’s because constantly watching us play such a brilliant brand of football with an elite group of players for so long has made the rest look decidedly average.

Perhaps it it’s a mixture of all of the above.

I know. I wasn't suggesting otherwise. I want arsenal and madrid out as soon as possible not because I fear them in any way, weve obliterated both in thr last 12 months, they're just the two most disliked teams remaining.

We really are the top dog now, it’s absolutely clear as day when you watch the other teams play.. every other game is a competition to certain extent, whereas our games stand out as bar the very rare subpar 45 mins where we don’t click it’s only the odd 10 minute spell where teams get on top against us.

That’s not me being arrogant as it doesn’t necessarily mean we will win it.. but we are a level or two above the rest at this moment in time.
